Ashley McCorvey Myers is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Marital and Family Law. Her practice focuses on all aspects of Marital and Family Law including, but not limited to: Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Paternity, Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements, Modification of Custody and / or Support, Enforcement, Domestic Violence and Appeals.
Ms. Myers was born Ashley Jennifer McCorvey in Jacksonville, Florida September 16, 1971. She is married with two daughters. A graduate of Episcopal High School of Jacksonville, Ms. Myers attended the University of Florida, later transferring to James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ms. Myers thereafter graduated from Stetson University College of Law in December, 1995. While attending Stetson University College of Law, Ms Myers participated in two law school summer abroad programs whereby she studied White Collar Crime at Trinity College in Cambridge, England as well as Environmental Law and Arbitration at Vermont Law School.
Ms. Myers was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, April, 1996 and to practice in the Middle District of Florida, The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and The Second District Court of Appeal in that same year. She was admitted to United States Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit in October of 2000. Ashley Myers became Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Marital & Family Law June 1, 2003.
Ms. Myers is a member of The Florida Bar, The Jacksonville Bar Association, The Florida Family Law Inn of Court and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She served on a Florida Bar Grievance Committee in from 2005-2008. She currently serves on The Florida Bar Family Law Rules Committee and on The Florida Bar Family Law Section Continuing Legal Education Committee. Locally, she serves on several boards, including: The Jacksonville Women’s Lawyers Association and The San Marco Rotary Club (Charter Member, 2008).
She also serves on the Jacksonville Bar Special Needs of Children Committee and participates in the Jacksonville Bar Holiday Project benefitting Seniors. Ms. Myers is personally committed to raising awareness for child victims of Leukemia and Lymphoma.
In her spare time, she enjoys her family, running, reading, Bunco with friends and chatting with neighbors.
