Michele A. Pena graduated from Kaplan University majoring in legal studies, and has over a decade of experience in the legal field.
Michele came to McCorvey & Myers from The Bank of New York, where she was an officer at the bank and senior paralegal. Michele played a critical role in the creation of the Enforcement and Investigations Unit at the bank, working very closely with the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and Managing Counsels of the bank, helping to create policies and procedures for compliance with banking rules and regulations, recruiting support staff, and overseeing six paralegals and four legal secretaries in the Enforcement and Investigations Unit. Michele has experience in banking and securities law, business and real estate litigation, creditors’ rights and foreclosures.
Michele currently is paralegal and executive legal assistant to John H. McCorvey, Jr., where she assists in all phases of case management, as well as supervises office staff. One of Michele’s goals is to attend law school and join McCorvey & Myers.
In Michele’s free time, she loves to swim, take long walks with her husband and son, and cook gourmet meals.
